Genesis 1:1-2 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
The old 70’s Billy Preston song tells us the “nothing from nothing leave nothing”, but in natural processes “something from nothing is impossible”. Yet, when it comes to the origin of the universe and life, atheistic Evolutionists are demanding we believe that theory by blind faith. No one was around when everything was first created, but the geological and astronomical scientific observations, the multiple anthropomorphic details, the irreducible complexity, design in nature and the existence of knowledge point to supernatural special creation by an All-powerful Divine Creator God.
Exodus 20:11 “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.”
The first Scientists understood this and believed in the revealed Creator and the divine creation, which drove them to seek the fingerprints of their Maker in the natural world around them. But having a Divine Creator meant that the creation and it’s creatures were accountable for their thoughts, words and actions before this sovereign God, who commands obedience to the “rights and wrongs” in His eyes.
Isaiah 44:24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, stretching out the heavens by Myself and spreading out the earth all alone.”
In a fallen in sin world, the rebellious hearts demands the dictates and desires of their sinful flesh, so rejects the statutes and commands of Almighty God and blindly follows a theory that begins with the premise that there is no God in order to be comfortable in their sins, without shame or guilt. The evidence found by true scientific method experimentation lines up with the biblical account, yet the atheistic Evolutionary explanation fails by comparison. But, since a Creator God that they are accountable to is unacceptable, when they must believe by faith in the impossible, because they have nowhere else to turn.
Jeremiah 27:5 “I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.”
There is a Creator God, who made everything good. Our original parents were tempted by Satan to doubt God, so sin and death were ushered into the world. The same Creator God has been at work in the reconciliation and restoration of all who will repent of sin and believe in the Creation and the Savior of the world, sent by God the Father.
Amos 4:13 “For behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind and declares to man what are His thoughts, He who makes dawn into darkness and treads on the high places of the earth, the Lord God of hosts is His name.
To restore everyone back to an upright position before God is the goal is the intended goal, mission and purpose. Go where the evidence points. The lie of macro-Evolution is a direct attack on God fueled by unbelief based on conviction of sin and ultimate authority. The truth is that there is a God, who created the heavens and the earth, and everything that exists.
Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.”
