Under The Tree

Psalm 47:6 “Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!”

A Praise song to the tune of "Under the Sea", a popular song from Disney's 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

You dream about going over there, but that is a big mistake.

Just look at the world around you, right here on God’s green earth.

Such wonderful things surround you, what more are you lookin' for?

Under the tree. Under the tree. Darling you’ve got made, down where there is shade, Take it from me. Up on the land they work all day, out in the sun they slave away. While we dayin', full time to prayin' under the tree.

Under here all the folks are happy, as off through the Word they read. Folks lost in the world ain't happy, they sad 'cause of their bad deeds. But folks in the world ain’t lucky; they in for a worser fate. One day when the Lord comes calling, guess who doesn’t find the gate.

Under the tree. Under the tree. Nobody beat us, harm us, defeat us in eternity. We “on the earth folks” love to praise, under the tree comes off the haze.  We got no troubles, our birth is double, under the tree. Since life so sweet here. We do not cheat here, naturally. Even the sinner and the stray, they get the urge 'n' start to pray. We got the Spirit, you got to hear it, under the tree.

Under the tree. Under the tree. Reading God’s words with the singing of birds, It's music to me. What do they got? The praise of man. We got a heaven angelic band. Each little boy here, know how to have joy here. Each little girl here, will find a pearl here, under the tree.

Each little saint here, no one will faint here; yes, you can pray here, you'll want to stay here, under the tree.

Each little child here, know how be mild here; that's why it's feedin’ when we are readin’.

Ya we in luck here, we never duck here, under the tree.

 In Christ, Brian
