Haters

 

America was historically founded as a Christian nation. Documented evidence can be found in (1) The Mayflower Compact, November 11, 1620. “In the name of God, Amen. We whose names are under-written, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord, King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith, et cetera. Having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith …”, in (2) The Articles of Confederation of the United Colonies of New England – May 19, 1643, “Whereas we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end and aim, namely, to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel in purity with peace; and whereas in our settling (by a wise providence of God) ...”, in (3) the Preamble to the U.S. Declaration of Independence, 1776, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”, in (4) The Preamble of all fifty states in the USA, in the year of their addition to the union. Look them up online., in (5) the Supreme Court Trinity Decision – Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 1892), “These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation.”, and numerous writings of our Founding Fathers for example

 

Matthew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

 

Today, there are anti-Christian individuals and groups, not content to disagree with Christianity or even argue with, but instead work to label Christians as “haters”, inciting discrimination, prosecuting and even threaten or commit violence against them and anyone who dares to disagrees with their ideology. It is and issue of moral absolutes of sovereign God’s Law and Divine authority verses moral relativism of God-rejecting secular humanism, creating division as a direct frontal attack on the Creator of Heaven and Earth, advancing immorality and injustice in the nation. Moral absolutes of God are the basis for the pursuit of justice, liberty and equality for all. No God means no Lawgiver and no law. They hate God, who hates sin (which only God defines). 

 

Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

 

So, they slander and defame to wrongfully destroy the reputation of a follower of God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, with no regard for the American free-market place of ideas when it comes to what the Bible teaches. The intent of these anti-Christian attack is to force their godless secular humanism values on everyone, silencing the church by redefining the word “hate” in order to shut down any opposing opinion (which the First Amendment of the US Constitution protects). It is a culture war against those who believe in God and hold to a biblical belief of morality and ethics. Who is the hater?
