Spirit & Truth

The 1828 Webster’s Dictionary defines “worship” as chiefly and eminently, the act of paying divine honors to the Supreme Being; or the reverence and homage paid to him in religious exercises, consisting in adoration, confession, prayer, thanksgiving and the like. The worship of God is an eminent part of religion and prayer is a chief part of religious worship.

The word “spirit” is defined as the soul of man; the intelligent, immaterial and immortal part of human beings.

The truth of God, is His veracity and faithfulness. Truth for mankind is defined as fidelity and constancy, honesty and virtue, exactness and conformity to rule. Sincerity.
