The 1828 Webster’s
Dictionary defines “worship” as chiefly and eminently, the act of paying divine
honors to the Supreme Being; or the reverence and homage paid to him in
religious exercises, consisting in adoration, confession, prayer, thanksgiving
and the like. The worship of God is an eminent part of religion and prayer is a
chief part of religious worship.
The word “spirit” is defined
as the soul of man; the intelligent, immaterial
and immortal part of human beings.
The truth of God, is His
veracity and faithfulness. Truth for
mankind is defined as fidelity and constancy, honesty and virtue, exactness
and conformity to rule. Sincerity.
