Corinthians 1:2-3
To the
church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus,
called to
be saints, with all who in every place
call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans
10:12-14
For
there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for,
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one
they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they
have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name
which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under
the earth, and that every
tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father.
Acts 4:10-12 Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that
by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised
from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the
chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name
under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts
22:16
And now
why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on
the name of the Lord.’
