The Creation and Creator

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

I recently read that the universe, our galaxy, our Solar System and the Earth-Moon double planet system demonstrate some remarkable evidence of intelligent design. Taken separately, each characteristic is highly improbable by random chance. When taken together, the probability is so small as to be impossible - by random chance. The alternative explanation, design by an intelligent Creator is a more realistic explanation. Either way, one must admit that we are a product of a miracle - a miracle of design. 

Job 38:4-6 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone?

Nobody was here to see the beginning. Man wasn’t in the picture until the sixth day. Moses recorded God’s account which all data and evidence substantiates that the Earth was designed for life. It seems very unlikely that stable planetary systems, in which a small earth-like planet resides in the habitable zone, exist in any other galaxy in our universe. This does not even consider the other design parameters that are required for life to exist anywhere in the universe. So, with this physical knowledge, why do people ignore the true facts and passionately strive to prove the non-existence of God, the creation of the Universe and the origin of life?  Why do they aggressively indoctrinate the public with other tangible religions of naturalism and the theory of evolution? Why believe the lie and reject the Truth? Sin and the love of it, plus the hatred of their Sovereign Maker, who they sin against and are accountable to. It’s not scientific; since you cannot have it both ways, one has to go. But there are consequences for our corruption, rebellion and rejection.

Romans 1:18-23 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man.” But our Creator Lord God created a recue path to forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration to relationship by His mercy and grace.

John 1:11-13 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 3:16-19 explains: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

The love of God has provided this age of grace that, by seeking and knowing God, we may see and realize our sin for what it is, then turn from our wicked ways and repent to accept the free gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ, our Savior, and follow the Lord. 1 John 1:8-9 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  2 Peter 3:9 ^“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” The God of the Universe is inviting us to life, abundant life and eternal life. Nothing on Earth can substitute that deal. Know God and make Him known today.
