Refrigerator Bibles Verses

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Last week, The Lay-leader of our Wednesday night Bible Study concluded that night lesson with Romans 15:13 and then said that this is one of these Bible verses that he would like to put on his refrigerator door to look at and remember always. Everybody seems to have a favorite Bible verse or two that they love to hear because it strikes a special cord in their heart, their life and their relationship with their Lord. The Word of God has the unique quality, when studied and saturated in, pondered upon for their meaning and application, and abided for righteousness and life’s moral standards, to produce and active conscience with a clear picture of God in our decision-making.

Deuteronomy 11:18-21 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.
My favorite Bible verse is John 14:23, but as you can see from the photo, I have many second favorite Bible verses. What is your favorite Bible verse? They all are a blessing!

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

In Christ, Brian

Hi Brian,
If I could, I would paste the whole Bible on my fridge but it wouldn't fit. ;P I love all of God's word and love reading it over and over. But if I would have to choose a verse that stands out for me I would have to say

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These two verses have given me so much comfort during painful trials and accusations in my life.

Thanks for sharing your favourite verse, John 14:23 is a gem! What a wonderful promise we have! Such hope in such an amazing God.

Blessings,
<><

Love the fridge!

I have always identified with Romans 8:16, but have found recently a new one I think is my current favorite:

Ephesians 3: 20-21

20Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

21unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Child of God, How can you not love Romans 8:38-39 with the truth of blessed assurance in an uncertain world - nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Maybe they'll come up with a refrigerator magnet that is a mini-reader that can display Bible verse after verse soon. It is wonderful that each of us finds personal connection in special verses and passages that speak directly to our heart. thanks for the great comment.

You know Ma, the sides of those refrigerators are big blank sheets of metal for a reason ... I say magnets. We use the other side for the calendar, notes, grocery list and appointment cards held with magnets also. Romans 8:16 really speaks to me of my bondage to sin that we were saved from by Jesus adn the indwelling Holy Spirit confirming to our regenerated spirit of our adoption into the family of God. And Ephesians 3;20-21 that it is the Almighty Lord, not us, who provides adn deserves all the glory, honor and respect. John 14:23 grounds me foundationally that we are His and He (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) in with us always and forever. So now, more verses can speak to us in our daily walk and interaction. The Word sets the tone of living. Always a pleasure to hear from you Ma.
