Livin' the Life

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Today’s final game of the Tee Ball Angels of La Palma Little League in Anaheim, California marks the end of another season of teaching, training, developing teamwork, social life skill-building in dedication, devotion and desire for self-improvement, love, care, fellowship and fun for both the players and the players in this 4-6 year old instructional introduction division of baseball in children’s sports.

What a blessing to spend time shaping lives and the pure joy of working with young beginning athletes in our cultural pastime. The team is more than the players on the field. It’s a cooperation and coordination of Coaches, Team-Mothers, League Staff, parents and kids working and playing together in harmony, and honest love of community. When it works right, you experience that trusting love of one another. This team was just a way to bring the love of one another together. To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. Another season in the books and more lives touched and blessed because of it.
