The Lord is Close to the Brokenhearted

Psalm 34:14-18 “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Stay in the Word and walk in the Spirit. Seek the Lord and listen for His loving guidance. Depend upon God providence, protection and power in your life. Stand upon the promises and boldly approach the throne of your Heavenly Father in prayer. In a fallen world, life happens, but stand firm in faith and the knowledge of your salvation and purpose in Christ. Righteous simply means having a "right" relationship with Creator Father God ... a relationship that overwhelms our circumstances with love, joy and peace.
