Romans 3:21-28 “No one will be
declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law
we become conscious of sin. But now a righteousness from God, apart from the
law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This
righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who
believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption hat
came by Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith
in His blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance
He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished – He did it to
demonstrated His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the One who
justifies those who have faith in Jesus.”

Have Faith
Ephesians 2:4-9 “But because of his great love for
us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ
even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with
Christ and
seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the
coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and
this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
As people of God, who live in the present, who have
a past that we are aware of and a future that is not altogether clearly known,
we nevertheless have the future promises set forth by God in His Holy Word as
an anchor for our souls. The Bible speaks of our confident faith in the future in
terms of the idea of “hope”. In biblical categories, hope does not indicate an
unfulfilled wish that we have a desire to see come to pass. Instead, our hope
is that which rests upon a certain conclusion in the future that God has
promised for His people. – R.C.Sproul
Hebrews 10:39-11:1
“But we do not belong to those who
shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do
not see.”
Come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
In Christ, Brian
