American Christianity is weakening. In Matthew 13, Jesus spoke a parable about the Sower who went out and sowed good seed in his field. While the workers were asleep, an enemy came into the field and planted weeds among the wheat. The master did not send workers into the field to pull weeds, rather he called his workers to gather in the harvest. Leave the separation of the wheat from the weeds to the master after the harvest. He will separate the wheat from the weeds and the grain from the chaff.
God has called us to live among the weeds and the chaff of this world. As God's harvest, our mission is to plant and to water so that God can give the increase. God did not call us to be influenced by the world but rather to influence the world. The greatness of

The Founders did not espouse the idea of "freedom from
religion." The idea of "separation of church and state"
was to ensure that the people would have the right to worship God
"according to the dictates of their own hearts." Congress shall
make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof. This "establishment" clause prevented
Government leaders from claiming that they were representatives of both the
government and a "national Church." The founders did not want
American government to become a reflection of "the divine right of
Kings" where the King claimed that he could dictate to the people as God's
instrument on earth. In order for free men to worship God according to the
dictates of their own hearts, the founders knew that the citizens needed to be
able to read and understand the Holy Scriptures for themselves. They believed
that firm reliance upon Divine Providence according to His Word is the source
of the ideal of virtue. Self control or "temperance" according
to scripture was the way to ensure a system of self government. Only
virtuous men could govern themselves. What is the "Fourth of July" in America all about?
Government of the people, by the people, and for the people will only work when
good men; virtuous and righteous men, govern themselves according to the
"spirit" of the law and not by the "letter" of the
law. For the law of the spirit after the inward man hath made me free
from (letter of) the law of sin and death. As Lincoln
said in the Gettysburg
address, we are gathered today upon a great field of battle to determine if a
nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are
created equal can long endure. Today, we are in the midst of a battle
against a godless secularist culture. As our nation was sorely tested
during the civil war, in today's battle for the hearts and minds of America , men of
God must be bold to uphold the truth of the Word of God. As Jesus died to
make men holy, we must live to make men free.
Noah warned the people about the impending flood. He preached to them the way of salvation. For more than a hundred years Noah prayed, but the people went about their normal godless business. When the flood came, the people turned their backs on the way of salvation and perished in the flood. However, God always works with his remnant. The remnant is where the seeds are. Eight was all God needed to replenish the earth. With God the minority is the majority.
Romans 1: 18-20 The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead so that they are without excuse.
The politics of "socialism" in the guise of "equality" is becoming politically correct. When the communist socialists took overRussia , they
first killed all the wealthy and influential and free-thinking people.
The Communists' greatest opponents were those who stood for the values of
virtue. The communists killed them all in order to take over the government in
the name of "equality for the people." They killed off the
noble and most influential... the most virtuous people in the communities. In
our politically correct climate, conservative God-fearing men are the enemy of
the doctrine of socialism/ secularism. The politically correct actively
marginalize, shut down, and ridicule the values and virtues of men of God
committed to the Word of God.
Jesus came to make new men out of old men of the flesh. He came not to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. God is still in control. It's not about quantity, its about quality: those in whom the spirit of The Lord is. He came not to polish our flesh, our earthen vessel. For we have this treasure (the spirit) in an earthen vessel (our carnal body) that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us.
It's not about the size of the dog in the fight, rather it's about the size of the fight in the dog. Our power is of the Spirit of God. For it is God that worketh in us to will and to do of his good pleasure. It's easy to become swept up and swept away by the political correctness of this world: To become "victims" and to passively embrace the victim mentality prevalent in the culture. However, God called us to actively resist the devil. Therefore, stand putting on the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand.
We need not be discouraged about the affairs of this world and the secularism of our culture. We need not be disappointed about the results of man's elections. Rather we rejoice that we are the results of God's election. Men of God are the elect of God. Choose ye this day whom ye will serve. As for me and my house we will serve The Lord (Joshua 24:15). My prayer is not that God is on my side, rather my prayer is that I am on God's side. Not my will, but thine be done...
