Economy of words

Economy of words:  the less you say, the more precious the words.  It's precious because it's rare.  You say it best when you say nothing at all.

Learning is by precept (doctrine) and by practice (believing action) i.e. wisdom, the application of knowledge.  People judge Jesus Christ and his influence by observing what you do.  If you say you know him, they'll watch you to see what it's like to walk with him.  You're always a witness by your walk.  You're his sermon in shoes.  They can't hear what you say but they clearly see what you do.  You don't deliver the message, you are the message.  You say it best when you say nothing at all.

Humble my heart oh Lord, that you may increase and I may decrease.  That when I plant and water according to your will, you may give the increase to your honor and glory. Remind me oh Lord to seek the Blessor and not the blessing.

God said to Paul after he prayed for God to remove his thorn in the flesh:  my grace is sufficient for thee.  It's not about our tribulation and pain, it's about his grace.  Part of God's grace is that he's given us wide open spaces, room to make the big mistakes.  Thank you Lord for humbling my heart and pruning my life  so that I may turn from the tribulation of this world and unto you.

God works best with nothing.  When we empty ourselves then God can fill us with his spirit.  When we forsake our own will by making his will our will, his good pleasure our good pleasure, then he can work within us to will and to do of his good pleasure since our good pleasure is his good pleasure.

With God there is nothing difficult:  difficulty is inversely proportional to the power used to overcome it. With God nothing (of God) shall be impossible... It is god that worketh in you to will and to do of his good pleasure.

God honors faith, believing action according to his Word.  Walking according to God's spirit produces the fruit of the spirit.  As we walk according to his allotment, his provision, his providence, his divine appointment then he can give the increase, the harvest of the fruit of the sprit:  love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.  He is the vine, we're the branches.  The vine dresser prunes the branches that we may produce much fruit.  The pruning  may be painful, but it's necessary.

Jesus said if it be possible that there is any other way than to drink the cup (of pain and death) remove this cup from me.  Jesus said nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.  Prayer is not aligning his will with our will, but rather aligning our will with his will.  The gospels do not say how God answered Jesus' prayer, however in Hebrews it does:  Jesus, who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross and is set down at the right hand of God.  God revealed to Jesus his joy:  the harvest and the fruit.  We're the harvest and the fruit.

Fruit contains the seed.  We are the fruit whose seed is in itself.  We're born again not of corruptible seed but by incorruptible by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever.  Our mission and our commission is to be fruitful and multiply.  You teach what you know but you reproduce who you are.

Your brother in Christ,

Michael
