Scientific Investigation for Truth – Part Three

Isaiah 45:6-8, 11-12, 18, 21-24 “So all the world from east to west will know there is no other God. I am the Lord, and there is no other. I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the Lord, am the one who does these things. “Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.” This is what the Lord says- Israel I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command.” For this is what the Lord says-He who created the heavens, he is God; He who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited-He says: “I am the Lord, and there is no other. There is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me.  “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone are deliverance and strength.’” All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.

Continuing Focus on the Family’s “Truth Project” study on the battle over Science, host Dr. Del Tackett points out that by the 1970’s most researchers had rejected the idea that the information necessary to build the first cell originated by chance alone. A great scientific movie “Unlocking the Mystery of Life”, that demonstrates that the specific genetic instruction required to build a protein molecule in even the simplest single cell organism would fill hundreds of pages of printed text. Evolution cannot produce information from “nothing”, so where does this organized information come from? I highly recommend everyone to see this movie and show to everyone that they know, so that the “truth” may be known. Charles Darwin’s book “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life”, published on November 1859 is considered the most influential theory in modern civilization. But does the theory of biological Macro-Evolution (one species evolving into another different species) really match reality, or a lie designed to create the illusion of reality in order to persuade people that we do not need a God? Isaiah 29:16 “How foolish can you be? He is the Potter, and He is certainly greater than you, the clay! Should the created thing say of the One who made it, “He didn’t make me”?

Psalm 33:6 “The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.”

Dr. Tackett explains that, scientifically speaking, a “Hypothesis” is a very early assumption made on the basis of limited evidence used as a starting point for further investigation. A “Theory” is the idea or belief about something formed by speculation, conjuncture, or deduction from certain facts within certain parameters, that begins to predict results when collecting data and develops truth claims that support the theory by matching reality. A “Law” is a statement of scientific fact, proved through the scientific method that a particular natural or scientific phenomenon is invariable under given circumstances. If the facts and data do not support the theory then you must go back and change your hypothesis.

Psalm 89:11-12 “The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; everything in the world is yours—you created it all. You created north and south.”

English biologist, philosopher, educator, and author Sir Julian Huxley (1887-1975, London) stated: “Darwin’s theory is no longer a theory, but a fact. Darwinism has come of age to speak. We are no longer having to bother about establishing the fact of evolution.” American author and professor of biochemistry at Boston University Isaac Asimov (1920– 1992) stated: “Today, although many educators play it safe by calling evolutionary ideas ‘theory’ instead of fact, there is no reputable biologists who doubts that species, including Homo-Sapiens, have developed with time and that they ate continually though slowly changing.” American astronomer, astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, Carl Edward Sagan (1934 –1996) stated: “Evolution is a fact amply demonstrated by the fossil record and by contemporary molecular biology. Natural selection is a successful theory devised to explain the fact of evolution.” English ethologist, evolutionary biologist, and writer Richard Dawkin (1941-present) stated: “It is absolutely safe to say that if you meet someone who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid, or insane (or wicked, but I’d rather not consider that).” Evolution is a fact? No reputable biologists doubt macro-evolution? Fossil records and contemporary molecular biology demonstrate natural selection? A person is ignorant, stupid, insane or wicked to not believe in evolution and believe in "intelligent design" by the Creator God of the Bible? Let’s see on the next post.
