Life: An Unalienable Right Endowed by our Creator


Jeremiah 1:5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

Wow! The picture of our 7 month developed first Grandchild – Kaleb is incredible. Those 3 dimensional ultra-sounds are amazing. They really need to require all women who are thinking about having an abortion to have one of these 3D ultra-sound sessions and show them the picture of their child & hear their heartbeat first. Much of the problem in the out of control abortion on demand industry is that most of the women don’t truly realize and know that it’s a real life, a real baby, their child, that is having its life taken. Just look at my grandson Kaleb’s face in that picture. I've heard the saying "If wombs had windows, abortions would drop enormously" and now, with this technology, they do. There was that trial of that Philadelphia abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell, found guilty of murder,that has brought recent attention back on the subject. Did you know that the definition of the Latin word “Fetus” is translated “offspring”. The definition of baby is human fetus, an unborn child, a young child in the womb. The Bible says, Life is formed by Creator God. Baby Kabel is alive in his mother’s womb … look at him sucking his thumb. Cute guy isn't he? 

The United States of America's Declaration of Independence states: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Unalienable Rights, same as inalienable, are Rights given by God that are not to be separated, given away, or taken away by man. Life is the first one. To willfully take an innocent life, to stop a heart, is murder to me, whether suicide (Latin: the murder of oneself), or homicide (Latin: the murder of a human) or genocide (Greek: the murder of a race) or infanticide (Latin: the murder of an infant). One of God’s Ten Commandments, from Exodus 20:13 is “You shall not murder,” and God’s Law - the Law that is above the law – defines murder. Even without the Commandment from God, which I strive to align my heart and soul, I feel that murder is morally wrong. Murder is a premeditated choice rooted in “hatred” (per Matthew 5:21-22 and 1 John 3:15) – but never a choice of the unborn child, who doesn't seem to have a Right to Life or to determine what happens to its body. Why? 

The second inalienable Right from our Creator is “Liberty”, which is defined as the state of being free; enjoying various social, political, or economic rights and privileges. The concept of liberty forms the core of all democratic principles. The Founding Fathers of the United States established the Bills of Rights in the American Constitution to guarantee and protect these inalienable Rights given to the citizens by our Creator. The First Amendment of the Constitution states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. And the first Right mentioned in the First Amendment is the “Freedom of Religion”. There is also the Right of Peaceable Assembly and the Freedom of Speech. They were put there because some people desire and attempt to take our light of God-given Liberty away, so the Framers of our Constitution aligned man's laws with God’s perfect Law to protect them. They are the standard and guide to measure against. I can write my Christian world-view Blog and you can read them because America protects that Freedom and Right for us to do so in Liberty. Both Liberty and In God We Trust (The National Motto) is on every coin this country makes. Creator God speech is not “hate” speech, though God-rejecting opinion would beg to differ. You don’t have to keep your honest opinions to yourself in America. God bless America! Sure, both you and I know that there are people trying to take away God and Liberty ... there always has been and always will be. Freedom isn't free, so let's defend freedom. 

I know that I focus on Christ, write about a Christian world-view and following the Lord daily by loving God and loving others (my neighbor), but it seems that anti-God darkness is all around poisoning our culture, and the light of Christ needs to shine into the darkness of sin, bring truth to stop the lack of biblical knowledge, and counter unbelief today, for others to see and know good from evil, or right from wrong by the Creator’s standards. Are people (created by God in His image, but fallen in sin) really choosing darkness over light or is darkness all that they see and know? What are these decisions based upon? Who is bringing the “salt and light” of gospel truth? Sometimes, Christians are portrayed as radical extremists for the “Truth” of Christ, as sin is normalized and accepted because any view opposing Bible-rejecting godlessness is criminalized or mocked in attempts to abolish America’s Freedom of Speech, silence the Christians and turn out the light. Some have foolishly redefined “God” himself as anything you want or an imaginary friend. Many believe that they don't follow the Devil or God, but just follow their own personal beliefs ... “true to self”. To others, spirituality is about the inner-self connecting to the power of nature and the universe. The Bible spoke of all of these things false beliefs over 2000 years ago. In America we have Freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. I choose the God of the Bible, which the Founding Father did. Not a god or religion that says “earn your way”, but the One who said: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” and “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.”  Its time for America to bless God. It always has been. All the Baby Kaleb's are counting on us.

Joshua 24:15 “If it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Hi Brian,
That ultra sound of your grandson is amazing!! I agree that if more women could see into their womb they would not consider an abortion. Technology is fascinating!
