A father was driving with his young daughter, who could barely see over
the dashboard from the passenger seat. The dad playfully tells her to
take-a-look around out the windows, then asks, “Do you know where you are?” The
little girl looks outside, trying to find a familiar site, but not seeing any
thing recognizable, she says, “No daddy, I don’t know where I am?” Sensing a
teaching moment for his child about asking for directions, the parent proclaims, “Well then, you must be
lost.” To which this logical young lady immediately replies, “Oh no daddy, I’m not lost! I’m
with you.” It was quite a teaching moment.
Likewise, when we are with our heavenly Father, “Abba” God, we are never
lost.
Proverbs 3:6 “In all
your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Praise be
to our Father in heaven, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for lessons learned.
