The Evolution Education System

Romans 1:18-25The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

I was listening to a presentation by Australian Creationist Speaker Ken Ham this week. Mr. Ham stated that because of the Evolution education system in America, we tend to think of the present being the keys to the past, instead of biblical revelation being the keys to the past. So, more and more, we tend to take our present ideas to the Bible, instead of using the Bible to build our thinking. We've been evolutionized in our thinking. Evolutionized is not the idea that molecules change into people over millions of years through “upward” progression, where one kind of animal turns into another kind of animal and ape-like creatures into man until finally you have your average American. This theory is not evolution, but just a mechanism that Darwin popularized to defend the idea that life arose without God.

Psalm 53:1 “The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

Ultimately, Evolution, in essence, is a whole philosophy of life that teaches that man, by himself, independent of God, determines truth; saying : I’m going to determine truth for myself.” My will be done, not Thy will.” We all have the propensity to want to take the words of man, rather than the Words of God, and tell God what He meant, rather than letting God tell us what He said. If the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God, then all of our thinking, in every area, must start with God’s perfect Word because He is the only one who knows everything and with infinite wisdom. People, in rebellion, try to turn God in the direction in which they want to go, instead of letting God speak to them. Why? Because we are accountable to God for our thoughts, words and actions contrary to the Sovereign Author and Creator of Heaven and Earth (Genesis 1:1), so they attempt to disprove His Holy Scriptures and the history that is the foundation in every area of our lives, by indoctrinating society with a lie. If you knock out the Foundation, the Structure will collapse. If we preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teach the authority of God, then the culture will change as hearts transform to the Truth, because in Holy Scripture, God Himself is speaking. What is Truth? Who is God? Who is Christ? As lights in the darkness, let’s make Him known.

In Christ, Brian

Hi Brian,
This is my first visit to your blog. I plan to return and read more of what you have written. Wow, a few days back I also used a part of the same passage in Romans you used. I have listened to many of Ken Ham's teachings, he is a great teacher. Thank you for sharing and God bless,
Ken

Hi Brian,
Isn' this so true! Man tens to say my will not God's will and we take our thoughts and say to God this is what You mean.

Yesterday on Facebook there was a post put up about a church that was using Vampires in the advertisement and they were saying something like, 'we all have vampires in our lives. Let's hug them and accept them so we can be rid of them.'

Totally foolish thinking! Hugging vampires is hugging evil and that is not of God. People have taken 'today's' way of thinking and brought it to the Bible, just like you are saying here in this post.

The times we are in are very dark and growing darker by the day.

Blessings brother,
<><

Thank you for coming by the Blog Ken/ I'm happy that the Holy Spirit is working those Divine appointments and coincidences in your and my lives. It truly is the living and active word of God at work. We were just talking in our small group Bible Study discussion last night about the lies of Evolution, the intentional counterfeit acts of deceptions by those who promote Macro-evolution in the name of Atheistic secular humanism. Where is the Truth? Mr. Ken Ham is shining a light into the darkness of ignorance and unbelief with that truth, out of destruction that sin enslaves us to, to the liberty found in our Maker and our Savior Lord. Thank you for the comment Ken.

In agree with you COG that this "friendship" evangelism is a "train-wreck" for a few reasons. first, and foremost, it denies the involvement and Divine work of the Holy Spirit and goes too far by putting ministry in the false light of human works in reaching a fallen & lost world. Just as the evolution theory wrongly proclaims "upward" progression away from God, many have bought into the "upward" progression of Christian ministry. Semi-pelagiansm is alive and well. The gospel is being circumvented by the ideology of "loving people out of damnation". Loving people and making friends are godly virtues; the Apostle Paul used the mis-guided thoughts and reasoning of people to get their interest, but immediately transitioned to the gospel that saves. Take the popular and trendy fad of the day to bring your message. But when the gospel message of our sin is perverted then it becomes fruitless heresy. They don't need a friend; they need a Savior. You might hear that "people don't care what you know until they know that you care". The caring is from the joy of a regenerated heart, saved by the Blessing redeemer, by the work f the Holy Spirit. It does not mean that you change the message to trick the unsaved with a hug and hide the message that they are dead in their sin. Remember that without the "bad" news of sin, the "good" news of Jesus Christ is not good to them. Unless they see that they are helplessly lost in their sin and need saved, they will never accept the Savior, no matter had nice a guy we make Him to be. No conviction, no repentance, no acceptance, no salvation. Just friendship. That's not the goal. The vampire reference is obviously an allusion to the popular books and movie series "Vampire Diaries" & "Twilight". I see your point that we take that which is "sin" in the eyes of God lightly. That which God had to send His Son to die for is being flippantly and vainly, whether intentionally or not. It's a bad message to appear to condone demons, Potter-type witches, Twilight-type vampires, the Occult, et cerea. Getting the message of Christ and the Word of God out is "right". Getting the "right" message" out, with the balance "right", in the "right" way is the key. Excellent point sister!
