Proverbs 3:1-7 “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.”
This week, at work, I was instructed to take an “on-line” course in the “White Belt” introduction to “Six Sigma” – labeled as a comprehensive performance improvement methodology, which the company was employing and implementing. As I was taking the course, I couldn’t help but notice how ... with the changing of a few key words ... there was a Christian message there. So Six Sigma has been modified to Alpha & Omega – a comprehensive Christian performance improvement methodology.

• Understanding that ... Christ is the foundation
• Commitment to ... delivering what God requires
• Use of ... Bible-based inquiry
• Willingness to be ... an agent of the Lord for change
• Practice of ... inclusion and open communication through witnessing
• Working knowledge and use of ... God’s gift’s as tools to reach the lost
• Hunger for ... opportunities for the message of the Cross and the Gospel to be easily shared and to transfer conversation to other areas of God’s truth
• Dedication to ... continuous improvement through sanctification
Christianity looks to God’s Word, found in the Holy Bible, to define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC) the process of living aligned and in conformance with God’s will in a “right” relationship (Heavenly Father to Child of God). However, it is not about Biblical knowledge, Church Doctrine or Theology, but action; growing, maturing, and improving through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
This methodology process:
• Eliminates Worry & Fear – Romans 8:31
• Reduces Stress & Anxiety – Matthew 11:30
• Increases Joy & Love – Psalm 5:11
• Improves Life Satisfaction – 1Timothy 6:6

Revelation 21:3-7 “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.”
