Freedom of Religion

Having been born and lived our entire lives in a "free" nation, with Liberty and Justice for all, we can take for granted what freedom we have that no other nation enjoys. The Founding Father's knew first hand what oppression felt like and built the right to express the individual citizen view without suppression. They do not give the individual a right to not be offended by another's view or peaceful expression. the First Amendment reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Freedom of Religion doesn't mean Freedom from Religion. Exercise your faith freely and enjoy the liberty that being an American provides. freedom to write a blog, if you feel like it! Have a blessed day.
